wow its been.... checks callendar. exactly two months since my last update on this thang. damn!! its p much only bc i had been holding off til i switched to linux to make the switch to VScodium.... and then i took 2 months to make the switch to linux bc of some fuckass bug it was having with my laptop's hardware that would flood my disk drive with error logs and make it impossible to install... and the frustration of dealing with that made it sooo hard to get to work on this site... but its ok. im back and hope to make progress on some mayor updates soon!!!

so far all ive really done is begin to move some of my off-site files from catbox to filegarden... i cant rly remember why i was so averse to using filegarden but the change has been. fine. i guess lol. folders r far easier to manage than in catbox and also its not banned in several countries so ig thats cool.
ive also begun watermarking my drawings and plan to do the same with most original pictures once i get my photo page up and stuff... i always feel a bit silly watermarking my work bc who tf would even want to steal my shit anyways LOL buuut im too lazy to come up with a signature. and i want any excuse i can to redirect ppl to my site since its the only public place i share my art at all lol. ive tried to make them as discreet as i can but it still feels rly obnoxious. idk. i hope its not that big a deal. so far ive only replaced my 2025 personal gallery snzzz ill get on the rest soon

other changes i plan to make are uhh switching from using zonelets to bearblog bc i THINK bearblog has. just a bit more flexibility when it comes to customizing layout.... im also changing my abt page's desc since IM 18 NOW!!!!! and ig i have to change my homepage too since i no longer code directly on neocities

ive been liking the change to vscode. the live preview plugin is great and smth i had been yearning for for SO LONG ugh. im sure theres more i can set this thing up to do to make my process more practical... but im taking baby steps atm. setting up the github repository to link ts to neocities was enough of a struggle for a day ohhhhh my godddddd. anyways yeah!!! expect frequent updates again :D

i am now just beginning to style this page so!!!! i feel i would expand a little bit more on what i want this to be. basically i uhhh havent really been updating my "updates thingamajig" bc this site goes thru a lot of fine-tuning CONSTANTLY and i felt it would be silly to update every. single. change. i. made. i dont rly agree with that now. but i do want to keep that widget short and sweet. this is my rambling chamber

this "devlog" button on my navbar has replaced one previously named "archive". when first designing my site's layout and making the 1rst draft of the navbar i figured this would serve purely as a gateway to explore previous versions of my site. Sometime in july i decided that there were many things i was working on that i was excited to talk about but couldnt showcase just yet- this page began as an unstiled plain html page that i planned to update regularly and keep unlinked until i got around to style it. i then proceeded to NOT update it lol, but i digress. point is i figured combining the two made sense.

some developments since my last update r the following:

• My about page, and a couple of its subpages (mainly the quizzes and the manifesto) are now up
• I have begun process on my collections page. i have scanned and uploaded all of my vinyls and cassettes to the site. i still have some cds to go. but i am still figuring out how to fit it into my site's pre-existing layout... ALSO I KEEP FINDING MORE SHIT. MY MOM TOLD ME SHE FOUND A BOX FULL OF CASETTES THE OTHER DAY (i think. maybe i dreamt it. im unsure) AND I FOUND A CASE FULL OF MY DADS OLD BURNT CDS. ive also burnt a few more myself... BUT POINT IS TS IS NEVER ENDING. I MOVE OUT IN TWO DAYS. I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS SHIT. collection page officially coming GOD KNOWS WHEN!!!!!
• i finally updated my image of the week. which hadnt been updated since i first began this redesign in may. oops
• ive begun writing blog posts in a currently unlinked page. just so i dont forget what ive been up to as i figure all of this shit out
• ive added warnings to all my art pages letting users know of possible loading issues they may face bc of the fact my images r hosted off-site (and the sheer amount of images in those pages)
• i have replaced the google form i was using in my fanlistings with uhhh. a different one. i forget what its called.
• all personal images from 2025 up to 2021 now have english captions
• several nav bar buttons have been shifted around and renamed or added. namely this page, but ive also removed the cliques button and instead added a pixel art button down by the gallery where i plan on putting all my pixel work separate from the main gallery page bc lightbox isnt great at showcasing images w/ small resolutions. ive renamed the 'printables' button to 'comics' since. tbh. thats what its mostly going to b for. and iii do plan on adding a bookmarks page and uh aaaaahhh...... a. uhm. like miscenaillous coding thingamajig page. maybe games. but im not sure where id put it.

there r still a lot of changes to be made to the site. my to-do widget doesnt really reflect most of my current goals, at least as of typing this. i do want to check out vscodium. bc i cant keep living like this. i cant keep using the built in neocities editor. it is hell. but also maybe i need to figure out how to make proper backups of my files first...... so maybe. maybe i will uhhh. do so. after i move out in like 2 days. this makes sense in my mind i have plans i just dont know how to explain them THIS IS GETTING SUPER LONG ok bye xoxo

I will allow myself to style this page once i finish everything else i want to do before summer break ends, which is namely

• to finish my about page
• to not only make my collection page but to also go ahead and document everything i already own (which is going to take a while...)
• and there was a third item to this list i forgot abt. oops. Scan everything i need to scan still i guess?

I may be confusing it for other plans i have for this website. Asides from the buttons on my sidenav that still dont have a link to take u to, i have some extra pages id like to add. This is one of them. Think of it as a detailed update log, a place where i can ramble abt development process and actually update everything. A lot of what im currently working on this site are smaller things like logging artwork or wtvr. I do want to get my diary up and running bc shit has been happening. I might make another placeholder html page for that page so i dont forgt what ive been up to.

doodles.html is another page ive been working on but havent updated in a while. i have like a 100 images scanned i want to add there. i want to make a huge collage of doodles for people to explore. ive toyed with the idea of learning enough js so that i can make people navigate it with wasd/arrow keys rather than the slide bars. i feel itd be more fun and less clunky that way.
Ive also been thinking a lot about adding a section of my website that would be entirely dedicated to my ocs. If you were ever wondering what the Network placeholders r on my homepage, maybe one of them will b dedicated to that section of the site. I know i want one of them to be a fleshed out fanlisting portal
idk. Im running thin on time so ill continue typing later.
